Named after one of Mexico’s oldest theaters, the Clavijero Lounge Chair, designed by Christian Vivanco, is rooted in the rituals of stillness and observation. Inspired by the shape of classic auditorium seating, it offers a contemporary homage to spaces of pause, presence, and performance.
Design
Crafted using traditional carpentry techniques, the chair’s clean lines and low profile are forged in wood and natural cowhide. The generous curve of the seat evokes the quiet dignity of theater design—an invitation to sit, read, or reflect. A composition of simplicity and restraint, Clavijero feels timeless in both form and intention.
