Inspired by the armadillo’s shell—a recurring motif in Mesoamerican ceramics—this piece reflects a deep visual and symbolic heritage. The distinctive bands of the shell, rendered here through geometric incisions, evoke both flexibility and movement. Created in collaboration with master artisan Ángel Omar Covarrubias Ramírez in Colima, the vessel embodies a living dialogue between ancestral knowledge and contemporary design.
