At K’ab Juun USA LLC (“K’ab Juun,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”), we take great care to ensure that each handcrafted piece arrives safely and in exceptional condition. The following Shipping Policy outlines the terms governing packaging, delivery, risk, inspection, and responsibilities related to orders placed through kabjuun.com.
1. FIT & ACCESS RESPONSIBILITY
Clients are fully responsible for ensuring that purchased items can be delivered into the intended space. This includes confirming all access points—doorways, elevators, hallways, stairwells, loading areas, and any architectural constraints—are adequate for the item’s size, weight, and required maneuverability.
K’ab Juun is not responsible for items that cannot be delivered or installed due to access limitations. Any additional costs arising from such issues—including redelivery, storage, restocking, return freight, hoisting, crating, or additional labor—are the client’s sole responsibility.
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, all delivery charges remain payable, and returns or cancellations will follow our standard Terms of Sale.
Clients are strongly encouraged to confirm measurements prior to purchase.
2. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS
We offer shipping throughout the United States and to selected international locations.

3. ORDER PROCESSING & LEAD TIMES
Each order is processed individually. Lead times may vary depending on:

4. PACKAGING & HANDLING
Packaging and handling fees are calculated separately from the product price.

5. DELIVERY PROCESS
Deliveries are fulfilled by trusted third-party carriers, freight services, or art-handling specialists.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information.

7. TRANSFER OF RISK
Risk of loss, damage, theft, or deterioration transfers to the Buyer upon:

8. RETENTION OF TITLE
Although risk transfers upon delivery or carrier pickup, ownership (title) of the goods remains with K’ab Juun until:
K’ab Juun reserves the right to reclaim unpaid goods in the event of non-payment or breach.
Buyer may not sell, pledge, or transfer the goods prior to full payment without written authorization.
9. INSURANCE
Buyers are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage from the moment risk transfers.
K’ab Juun is not liable for uninsured losses once the goods leave our control.
10. INSPECTION & DAMAGE REPORTING
To support any shipping claim, the Buyer must:

11. STORAGE, DELAYS & ABANDONMENT
If the Buyer delays delivery or collection after goods are ready to ship:
Goods that remain uncollected beyond 90 days may be deemed abandoned and disposed of without refund.
12. TAXES & DUTIES
International shipments do not include duties, taxes, import fees, or brokerage charges.
These fees are the Buyer’s responsibility and are payable directly to the carrier or customs authority at delivery.
13. CLAIMS & CARRIER RESPONSIBILITY
Once in transit, the carrier or insurer assumes liability for loss or damage.
K’ab Juun may assist with claims as a courtesy, but we are not responsible for carrier delays, denials, or outcomes.

K’AB JUUN – RETURN POLICY
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS
Returns are accepted within seven (7) days of delivery for non-custom items. Items must be unused, in original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Art, custom, special-order, or made-to-measure pieces cannot be returned or refunded unless defective upon delivery.
3. RETURN PROCESS
To request a return, contact shop@kabjuun.com within the return period. Once approved, our team will provide detailed instructions for return shipping.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the item is defective or incorrect.
5. REFUNDS
Refunds will be processed within twenty (20) business days of receiving the returned item, provided it meets the stated conditions. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
6. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you receive a damaged or defective item, notify us immediately with photos of the issue. We will arrange an inspection and determine appropriate resolution options—which may include repair, replacement, or refund—only if K’ab Juun defines and deems the item defective after a full review of the issue.

7. CARE, CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Any cleaning and maintenance guidance we provide is intended as a general suggestion to help extend the life of your piece. Following these suggestions does not create or extend any warranty. K’ab Juun waives all responsibility regarding these suggestions and shall under no circumstances be held liable for damages resulting from their application.
