The Aurum Vases are a delicate convergence of material poetry and artisanal mastery. Designed by Caterina Moretti and Karla Vázquez, each piece is the result of a careful exploration of the relationship between glass and gold. Blown using traditional techniques and molded in wood, the vases carry imprints of grain and memory. Their asymmetrical silhouettes and irreplicable forms reflect a reverence for imperfection and natural variation.
Design
Crafted by integrating 23-carat gold leaf into molten glass, each vase captures a constellation of golden fragments suspended in form. The wood molds leave subtle traces, giving every piece a singular texture and silhouette. Ethereal and luminous, the vases evoke celestial presence—simultaneously object and atmosphere. A collector’s piece where the ephemeral becomes eternal.
