Bloque explores repetition and structure through a minimalist geometric lens. With warm earth-toned reds and corals, the piece speaks to a grounded, architectural sensibility while remaining connected to the softness of human gesture. The tension between order and warmth, control and emotion, emerges through the cascading forms that feel both monumental and tender. It is a reflection on how structures can hold space for dualities.
Design
In the design, five elongated teardrop shapes descend in perfect alignment, creating a visual rhythm reminiscent of columns or drapes. These vertical forms, painted in layered shades of red and pink, are flanked by two golden circular accents that subtly break the symmetry. The lower half of the canvas, rendered in a muted blush, reinforces a sense of groundedness. Despite its minimalism, the piece resonates with depth, inviting quiet attention to the balance of form, texture, and tone.
