Rooted in a reverence for earth and craft, the Collar series draws inspiration from ancestral forms and ceremonial adornments, reimagined as objects of contemporary expression. Each piece in the set is handcrafted by Mexican artisans, honouring the identity of their material origins, volcanic and sedimentary stones. Together, they tell a tactile story of geology and geography, transformed through touch and time into a sculptural presence.
Design
In design, the Collars embody a balance between monumentality and softness. The spherical rhythm of each stone is interrupted only by the coarseness of the natural fibre that threads them, creating a tension between weight and suspension. Collarcitos, smaller and more varied, feel playful and expressive, perfect for a tabletop or low shelf. Whether resting against a wall or anchored in a room, they act as quiet provocations.
