Daphne originated as a commissioned piece for a residential project and later became part of the collection. Named after the nymph of Greek mythology whose transformation into a laurel tree symbolizes change and renewal, the stool explores the translation of organic forms into a lasting material expression. Its design preserves traces of its natural inspiration while establishing a distinct presence of its own.
Design
Inspired by the natural geometry of branches, Daphne balances refinement and wilderness, structure and spontaneity. Branch-like forms create a sculptural composition that sits between furniture and object, with references to growth and movement embedded throughout. The result is a stool that feels both architectural and organic, bringing a quiet sense of nature into the built environment.
