Ignis Ossium ("the bone fire") is a sculptural sand-cast bronze chair, realized in Mexico City in collaboration with Fundición Artística Galindo.
Here, where flesh and marrow vanish, leaving only bone — the primal structure of the human body and a substance central to the dawn of civilization.
Design
As bone reveals the essence of the body, the chair embodies the mastery of the craftsmen, whose skill imparts permanence, meaning, and a visible trace of the human presence that inspired it.
