A sculptural homage to the raw splendor of volcanic stone, Petra bridges primordial strength and modern geometry. Anchored by three cylindrical stone monoliths born from the untamed volcanic landscapes of Mexico, the table supports a massive, porous stone plane. Delicately etched lines trace across the surface, guiding the eye toward soft, polished stone discs that emerge from the supporting bases below. Petra evokes the sacred mysteries of nature, transforming an ancient material into an extraordinary centerpiece for daily ritual and gathering.
Design
Our reverence towards the sumptuousness of volcanic stone has led us to honor this noble material with a table/sculpture whose rich, porous top sits on top of three cylindrical monoliths born from the whims of Mexico’s volcanic terrain. Etched lines run through the surface of Petra’s top, guiding the eye toward the three soft and inviting polished discs that flow from the monoliths underneath, telling the story of their origin. Petra calls to the mysteries of nature and their sacred play in our day-to-day lives and pleasures.
