Rito draws inspiration from the ecclesiastical lectern—an object of ritual and reverence that once supported choral scores before the advent of print. Designed and reimagined by Alan Rojas and Caterina Moretti, through contemporary craftsmanship, it opens a dialogue between the sacred and the personal, between public ceremony and quiet interior reflection.
Design
Balancing weight and lightness, the piece combines carved stone with hand-joined wood, offering sculptural gravity alongside architectural precision. Its contemplative presence lends itself to both altar and archive—inviting books, icons, or personal objects to inhabit its surface. Rito is a spatial gesture—transforming any setting into a sanctuary.
