Designed by Raúl de la Cerda in collaboration with German designer Carsten Lemme, Múuyal is part of the KA'AN collection — a tribute to the origins of humanity and the enduring legacy of Mexican craftsmanship. The collection draws from ancestral Mayan knowledge, fusing it with contemporary design language and techniques.
Design
Named after the Mayan word for "cloud," Múuyal evokes lightness through form and symbolism. Inspired by ceremonial Mayan masks, its sculptural silhouette is crafted in resin and finished in a rich, matte Mayan blue. The piece captures the dialogue between sky and earth, past and present.
