Part of the NAAY collection by Raúl de la Cerda’s studio, Tikal is handcrafted in collaboration with skilled artisans. Its name—meaning “two mounds” in ancient Mayan—evokes a powerful concept of duality born from unity.
Design
With bold volumes and a monolithic presence, Tikal explores the dialogue between form and contrast. Crafted from resin, the piece is defined by a clean, structured geometry that interacts with light and shadow to reveal subtle depth. Designed as a sculptural object, it reflects duality without division—two elements that hold their individuality yet move as one.
